About the Role
Macquarie University is seeking a Program Support Officer to join the FIRST Australia team in a full-time, two-year fixed-term position, in the Faculty of Science and Engineering.
As the successful candidate, you will provide administrative support for the FIRST LEGO League Program activities, build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be a reliable point of contact for all FIRST LEGO League program queries.
Your other responsibilities will include:

Provide day-to-day coordination and delivery support for FIRST LEGO League program activities including arranging travel and accommodation, purchase orders and invoice processing.

Respond to, refer, or escalate queries about the FIRST LEGO League program and its activities.

Support grant processes for FIRST LEGO League, ensuring smooth administration and reporting.

Liaise with prospective or partner schools to maintain or build relationships aimed at increasing participation in FIRST LEGO League

Provide support for all FIRST delivered event activities both on and off campus, as .

Comply with relevant EEO and WHS regulations.

Perform any other duties as required and appropriate for this classification.

Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience in business administration

Experience working in a fast-paced administration role in a complex organisation

Strong customer service focus and ability to work and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels

Working knowledge and experience with finance systems

A proven ability to collaborate and operate effectively as part of a team.

Sound computer skills including Microsoft office and particularly Microsoft Excel (advanced skills advantageous) and an ability to learn and successfully use a range of enterprise applications.

Specific Requirements
