Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, the Senior Transformation Process Analyst is responsible for analysing complex data from multiple sources to identify process and business improvement opportunities, providing new information and insights to the business to inform planning, continuous improvement, and performance. In doing so, the Senior Transformation Process Analyst will be required to adhere to the standards as defined in the process taxonomy framework and take into consideration any ad-hoc requirements as governed by the project. The Senior Transformation Process Analyst will be accountable for leading and facilitating the necessary workshops, meetings and sign offs to deliver on assigned objectives and will be expected to drive a high quality of output and standards both in delivery of materials and in the manner in which they engage with stakeholders.- 6 months Fixed term contract role
- Location: Sydney (Parramatta) preferred but open to Melbourne(CBD)
Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities
- Providing a strategic lens on how process management helps to deliver effectiveness and efficiency in the way that we operate.
- Run workshop sessions to capture thinking and requirements and convert this into the design of an existing process or process improvement.
- Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of business requirements, processes, and systems.
- Develop and maintain necessary dashboard and progress reporting.
- Report regularly to the relevant project steering committee.
- Work with the business to embed processes into Knowledge Management for future artefact management.
- Feed any potential process enhancement opportunities into the Continuous Improvement pipeline for review.
- Challenges the status quo, provides intellectual leadership by bringing new ideas and process knowledge to operational discussions and leads process management strategic conversations.
- Builds strategic relationships and works with cross functional stakeholders to define business needs and gather data for mapping business processes to deliver products and services with the maximum benefit and to required standard
Experience & Personal Attributes
- Minimum 3 years proven process / business analytical experience
- Experience in documenting process models, business requirements and end user documentation such as operational procedures or work instructions.
- Project management and business or process analysis skills
- MS Visio and MS Office proficiency
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of process methodologies
- Strong analytical skills
- Track record of interfacing with and influencing a variety of business functions
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline combined with practical experience
- Accreditation in Lean Six Sigma, is advantageous.
