About the role
As a Digital Marketing Officer, you will:
- Manage content requests and updates across various websites using Drupal CMS.
- Engage with stakeholders to promote web technologies and maintain accurate digital content.
- Provide advice on best practice digital strategies and produce quality web assets.
- Contribute to the development and management of digital marketing campaigns.
- Maintain business relationships and provide professional service to internal customers.
- Drive improvements to digital content processes and ensure high standards of excellence.
- Research, write, and publish impactful content and digital marketing reports.
- Collaborate with Council staff to develop and implement website communications.
- Ensure content production adheres to best practices for WCAG 2.0, SEO, and SEM.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in communications, digital, or a relevant discipline.
- At least two years’ experience supporting complex organisational websites.
- Excellent written communication skills for web and online platforms.
- Strong understanding of web technologies, SEO, and analytics.
- Well-developed stakeholder management and project management skills.
- Experience producing content with SEO and SEM best practices.
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- A proactive approach, strong time management, and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of WCAG Compliance and the ability to demonstrate Council’s values .
What’s on offer
On offer is a 12-month term contract position with an attractive remuneration from $85,293.09 to $93,952.69 plus 11.5% superannuation.
