Marist Sion College is situated in Warragul, Gippsland. Warragul is a thriving rural town set amongst rolling green hills and dairy fields, on the lands of the Gunaikurnai and Bunurong People. It is 102 kilometres south-east of Melbourne, accessible directly form the M1 freeway and lies between the Strzelecki Ranges to the south and Mount Baw Baw Plateau to the north. The town is the main population and service centre of the West Gippsland region and has a population of over 20,000.

About the Role

In this role, you will support the upkeep and beautification of the College's facilities and grounds while assisting with general ad hoc duties to ensure the College operates safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be hands on, adaptable, and committed to maintaining a high standard of facility care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the College for opening and closing each day
  • Set up and pack up for various College events
  • Relocate furniture as required, ensuring safe work practices are followed
  • Complete maintenance tasks as directed by the Building and Maintenance Supervisor and Facilities Manager
  • Collaborate with the Building and Maintenance Supervisor to complete monthly audits of facilities and property equipment
  • Attend regular team meetings

Employment Type: Full Time, Fixed Term

Work Days: Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 4.00pm

Commencement Date: Tuesday 22 April 2025 (conclude January 2026)
