About this Position:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Support Officer to join our Shared Services Team on a term contract until 20 March 2026. This position plays a key role in delivering critical financial and administrative support services to the functional units within the Shared Services Department.

- Contribute to the development, implementation and achievement of the teams financial goals and objectives
- Provide essential financial and relative administrative support services to the functional units of the Shared Services Department
- Deliver financial administration services in a timely manner that meets the organisations requirements with a focus on continuous improvement
- Delivery of high-quality customer service and maintain strong relationships with internal departments, external stakeholders and organisations which are vital to the overall effectiveness of the office and Council.
What you will need to be successful:
- Certificate III in Business, Finance or Accounting or equivalent work experience
- Experience with Civica Authority Software Program or similar is highly regarded
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
- Logical and have an eye for detail, with excellent time management skills
- A genuine customer service focus
- Demonstrated extensive experience in finance and the ability to deliver services aligned to the business activities of the team

Term Contract: contractedhours of work - 70 hours a fortnight
Salary: From $1,310.30 (Grade 10 Entry) per week + superannuation
