The Role:
In this role you will be responsible for administrative duties and supporting communication between the catering and clinical service teams to facilitate the effective delivery of the nutritional requirements of our Consumers. You will be closely working with Montefiore’s developed food service software system the Digital Dietary Platform (DDP). This system provides clear, informative and immediate access to real time consumer dietary information.
Other duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Overlooking Consumers’ Dietary Care Plans daily and making sure appropriate clinical and allied health recommendations are coded and implemented/applied correctly so all recommendations reflect on the DDP.

Conducting audits with the Dietetics and Speech Pathology team.

Supporting catering and nursing staff with Consumers dietary requirements.

Meeting with Consumers and supporting their dietary needs/preferences/requirements.

Mentoring and supporting catering and nursing personnel in understanding the dietary needs of residents and the systems supporting this (DDP).

Supporting of ongoing development of the DDP.
Essential Criteria:

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent computer literacy specifically formatting Excel and Word documents.

High attention to detail with the ability to adopt new skills/information at a fast pace.

Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, problem solve and achieve goals within established timeframes.

Effective time management and organisational skills.
-
Awareness of IDDSI Guidelines.
