Description
This is NOT your typical marketing role sitting behind a desk coordinating digital campaigns and social schedules, it's a visible role supporting our team’s on the front line. More specifically, you will be ensuring our brand's merchandising presentation, promotional material and point-of-sale aligns with the company's values and objectives.
This permanent full-time position offers the chance to make a significant impact within the marketing department of a market leading contract catering company.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and execute brand standards and visual merchandising best practice at our retail outlet as well as all new sites
- Act as the conduit between operations and the wider marketing team
- Improve brand perception via well executed retail merchandising products & solutions
- Partner with the Operations teams to facilitate business outcomes through effective marketing and merchandising
- Partner with the business development teams to improve customer retention and support new business acquisition, specifically through the development of effective marketing and merchandising solutions
Skills And Experiences
Skills & experience
- Previous Marketing & Merchandising experience
- Developed knowledge and experience of merchandising best practise and its application to the industry (or willingness to learn)
- Experience developing client facing merchandising concepts and / or proposals
- Well developed written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to think strategically and demonstrate 'forward thinking' and initiative
