Exciting Role- Temporary, Full-time, Townsville | Contribute to the delivery of customer focussed payroll service to clients of Queensland Health through payroll and related administrative processes and systems.
The role
This position provides high-level administrative support to the Service Centre Leadership Team, ensuring the effective coordination of key operational activities. Responsibilities include managing emails, scheduling meetings, coordinating responses to stakeholders, and assisting with bookings for workshops and presentations. The role also involves overseeing logistical tasks such as building access, IT equipment maintenance, and administrative registers. Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders is essential to support administrative activities and project coordination. Additionally, adherence to workplace health and safety policies, service quality standards, and compliance requirements is required to maintain a high-quality and efficient work environment.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. They will possess sound analytical and critical thinking abilities, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders. Working collaboratively within the administration team, they will contribute to the achievement of team objectives while ensuring operational efficiency and service excellence across the Service Centre.
