Gold Coast Disability and Youth:
Gold Coast Disability and Youth (GCDAY) is a medium sized disability support service specialising in ASD teens and young adults. We provide self and plan managed NDIS participants with a range of support options including individual support and group programs. We are an LGBTQIA+ friendly company with strong ties to the community and have a strong passion for inclusion of gender and sexually diverse clients and workers.
We are looking to hire an enthusiastic staffing/rostering officer to join our growing team. As our staffing department is the first point of contact between our company and both our clients and our worker, we are looking for someone to join who can really embody the company’s values.
Your Role:
- Rostering support workers for one-on-one support, as well as group programs
- Liaising with new clients and coordinators to find the best match for a client and our workers
- Organising meet and greets/Group Trial shifts with new and existing clients
- Managing client and staff compliance by making sure all documentation is up to date
- Coordinating with the accounts department to make sure timesheets are correct for payroll and invoicing.
- Manage incoming phone and email enquiries
- Organising replacements for workers sick or on leave
- Sharing responsibility of on call phone after hours between other staffing members
Requirements:
- High attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability work under pressure, prioritise your workload, and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in an LGBTQIA+ friendly, neurodiverse affirming environment while dealing with gender and sexually diverse clients and workers
- Previous rostering experience preferred but not required
- Experience with the NDIS preferred but not required
