The Opportunity

Faith Lutheran College Plainland is seeking applications for the role of Executive Assistant to the College Principal. This role will play a pivotal role in supporting the College Principal and assisting the College Council. This position demands a dynamic individual capable of managing a wide range of responsibilities efficiently and effectively, mirroring the contemporary and progressive ethos of Faith Lutheran College.

The College is entering an exciting phase of growth, as we innovate and transform the traditional secondary school model while also expanding, with plans to open a Primary School in 2027. This is your chance to be an integral part of this exciting journey and contribute to shaping the future of education.

Located in the heart of the picturesque Lockyer Valley, our beautiful rural campus is just a minute away from the Warrego Highway, making it an easy commute from Brisbane or Toowoomba.

The working conditions are:

  • Competitive salary to match qualifications and experience
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Annual EBA increase of 5% (effective 1 July)

Selection Criteria

  • Commitment to the Christian faith.
  • Experience in an executive assistant or similar role, preferably in a dynamic, innovative setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Proficiency in advanced technology and AI tools.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability in event management and coordination.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, ethical conduct, and professional discretion.

Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications in administration, communications, or event management are desirable.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role.
  • Current Blue Card and First Aid Certificate.
