About the role:

Due to business growth, we are looking for a Warehouse & Safety Administration Officer to join our warehouse team in this newly created role. The primary purpose of the role is to provide daily administration support to the Warehouse department of our growing business, with a focus on safety, training, reporting and organising building maintenance requirements.

This role will suit someone with 2+ years’ experience in a similar role who has exceptional administration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare warehouse operational reports
  • Maintain the currency of warehouse training needs analysis
  • Book required training courses (i.e. First Aid & CPR)
  • Maintain up to date safety displays and equipment
  • Prepare safety induction documents for new starters
  • Initiate incident investigation documents when required
  • Maintain asset register for warehouse assets
  • Liaise with external contractors and freight suppliers
  • Provide backup assistance for our Warehouse administration assistant

Selection Criteria

  1. Previous experience in a similar role would be well regarded.
  2. Strong administrative, organisational and time management skills
  3. High level of attention to detail
  4. Ability to extend natural courtesies throughout fast paced workday
  5. Ability to prioritise and have patience with self and others
  6. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Outlook
  7. Hold a current driver's license
  8. Previous experience with Pronto would be viewed favourably.
