About this OpportunityWe are looking for an energetic Venue Supervisor to manage overall athletics activities at the UQ Sport Athletics Centre and has the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment. This is a 6-months fixed term appointment.
Reporting to the Precinct Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the centre operations and leading outstanding delivery service with a focus on customer retention.
In this role you will:
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Manage the booking management system to ensure efficient utilisation of the Athletics Centre
- Coordinate the rostering schedule and system to ensure efficient staffing
- Ensure maintenance and safety checks of the track, facilities, and equipment into high standards
- Facilitate the delivery of athletics events
- Provide guidance and training to the athletics casual staff
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Minimum 1 years' experience in a similar role
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Blue Card and Driver License
- Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service
- Demonstrated personal initiative and ability to work autonomously
- Diploma in Sport Management or similar (desirable)
