MDJV is one of three Major Framework Partners working together with our client to deliver a mulit-billion dollar Capital Delivery Program to improve water and sewerage services for South Australians. McConnell Dowell Diona Joint Venture
(MDJV) are seeking an enthusiastic Civil Supervisor to join the program. As a key member of the worksite management team, successful candidate will enjoy mentoring and support from a broader team of highly experienced construction Leaders. Key Duties
Responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of Supervision staff and work crews across all workfronts. Ensure that all personnel are inducted and trained in their roles and responsibilities and are competent to perform the duties allocated to them. Conduct prestart meetings for the site office. Ensure all staff implement start cards and JSEAs when working. Timely submittal of daily diary and other site performance information as requested by Site Management. Requisition of minor materials and consumables as required. Control and motivate the workforce and manage the employee disciplinary process as necessary. Promotion of a professional image of the Frameworks operations and maintenance of a harmonious relationship with the Client or representatives in the execution of the contract. Any other duties as may be required by the JV.
Key Requirements
Certificate in Civil Construction, preferred not essential. Minimum of five (5) years experience relevant to the designated project and having previously held a position of Foreman. Sound working knowledge of HSEQ requirements and implementing of same. Strong and proven ability to lead, direct and manage groups of diverse employees. Exceptional vigour and energy accompanied by good oral and written communication skills.
