Our client, a civil construction and concreting company based in southern suburbs of Adelaide are recruiting a key role to join their team. The company handle commercial and residential construction and concreting projects of various sizes and has seen it’s growth organically develop, however now it is moving into a new phase of strategic growth with additional services introduced. The company are seeking experienced and qualified individuals with a commitment to excellence and a positive attitude to fit the role of civil construction site supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of civil construction site operations.
- Monitor daily output for cost-effectiveness and ensure project milestones are achieved or exceeded.
- Prepare daily site reports, diaries, and timesheets.
- Implement project management plans, including inspection, test plans, and site-specific risk analysis.
- Lead site inductions and ensure compliance with WHS&E policies.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and manage contractor compliance.
- Organize plant, manpower, and materials to meet daily project outcomes.
- Review construction drawings and survey data, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
- Oversee concrete operations, including set-up, pouring, screeding, and finishing.
- Ensure all lasers and levels are calibrated and set correctly.
- Manage site safety, incident reporting, and ensure site and equipment security.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in civil construction supervision across various roles.
- Proficiency in site management, reading plans, concrete works, and safety procedures.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and inspire the team with a positive attitude.
- Relevant qualifications and certifications, including a valid driver’s license, White Card, and any necessary tickets or licenses.
- Strong communication skills and leadership abilities.
- Relevant qualifications and plant machinery licenses are highly desirable
