The People Services Lead acts as an escalation point for all general queries for the People Services and Analytics team. The role is responsible for resolving complex people process-related issues, coaching leaders across the business on how to effectively navigate performance/behaviour related matters, and lead the ongoing promotion of self-service.

Assignment Duration: 6-12 months with potential to become permanent based on performance
Salary: $550 daily rate (including casual loading) - equivalent to $114k per year
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR & People Services Lead to become the key point of contact for all HR-related queries, offering support for both general and complex cases through our client's HR portal. As the lead, you will take a hands-on approach to manage escalations, guide team members, and ensure high-quality service delivery. You'll also play a crucial role in relationship management by coaching and advising internal stakeholders and fostering strong partnerships across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the escalation point for complex people process-related issues, providing effective solutions and coaching business leaders.
- Build and nurture relationships with stakeholders, offering guidance on navigating HR systems and processes.
- Collaborate with People Data and Systems Specialists to develop customized reports and maximize system functionalities for business needs.
- Apply lean methodologies to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and drive service delivery through automation and simplification.
- Represent the People Services and Analytics team in various forums, sharing knowledge and promoting a collaborative service excellence culture.
About You
We are looking for a dynamic and proactive individual who is passionate about people services, data, and systems. You should be skilled in managing escalations, solving complex problems, and providing insightful guidance to internal stakeholders. Key attributes include excellent communication skills, a talent for building strong relationships, and experience in an HR or people services environment that values data-driven decision-making.
Your Background
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Law, or equivalent experience.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to generate innovative solutions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills , with the ability to engage senior stakeholders effectively.
- Proven organisational and administrative skills , with a keen eye for detail.
- Expertise in grasping complex concepts and developing efficient, scalable solutions .
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and HR-related technology platforms.
- Ability to work independently, set personal goals, and meet deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of contemporary HR principles, practices, and legislation .
- Experience with ServiceNow is highly regarded.
