We are seeking a skilled and proactive HR Business Partner or HR consultant to support and advise on employee relations matters while driving a positive and productive workplace culture. In this role, you will partner with leaders, managers, and employees to promote best practices, resolve conflicts , and ensure the consistent application of company policies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of employee relations strategies and be able to navigate complex employee issues while ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations issues , including performance management, conflict resolution, employee conduct, and policy interpretation .
- Investigate and resolve workplace issues, complaints, and grievances in a fair, timely, and legally compliant manner.
- Collaborate with management to address and mitigate potential risks, ensuring the workplace remains compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Partner with leadership to develop and implement strategies that promote employee engagement, retention, and productivity.
- Advise on disciplinary actions, terminations, and workplace investigations , ensuring consistency and fairness in decision-making.
- Promote a positive work culture by supporting diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being initiatives.
- Maintain thorough records of employee relations cases , including actions taken and resolutions .
- Stay up-to-date with changes in labor laws, best practices, and emerging trends in employee relations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in employee relations, HR, or a related field, with a strong understanding of labor laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in conflict resolution, investigations, and providing employee relations guidance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism .
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex situations.
- Experience with HRIS systems and other HR-related software tools is a plus.
Ideally: Current National Police Clearance and Working with Childens Clearance.
