As the RPL Coordinator, you'll be the go-to expert for RPL queries, assessments, and policy compliance across all our higher education courses. You'll collaborate closely with academic teams and administrative staff to ensure students experience seamless, high-quality RPL processes that align with our commitment to academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for all RPL queries from prospective and current students, admissions, course advisors, and learning support officers.
- Advise students and administrative teams on the outcomes of RPL applications, ensuring clarity and prompt communication.
- Oversee the entire RPL application process, from reviewing documents to requesting additional information, and finalising credit acknowledgment.
- Present RPL information sessions for students, ensuring they are informed during orientations and throughout the semester.
- Process informal appeals if students submit additional evidence and manage deadlines for re-evaluation.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all RPL applications, assessment outcomes, and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Keep the RPL register current, updating qualifications and changes as needed.
- Collaborate with course coordinators to ensure that articulation documents are accurate and up to date.
- Review and suggest updates to RPL policies to keep pace with evolving industry standards and educational regulations.
- Implement stakeholder feedback to continuously improve RPL procedures, documentation, and systems.
- Train and support administrative and academic staff on their roles in the RPL process, ensuring compliance and consistency.
- Select, allocate, and provide ongoing professional development to academic staff involved in RPL assessments.
- Review and approve invoices for academic staff conducting RPL evaluations.
What You'll Bring to the Role:
- While exact RPL experience isn’t a requirement, it will be highly regarded. Otherwise, 2-3 years’ experience in an RTO or Higher education environment will make you a strong candidate.
- Significant experience in articulation, credit arrangements, and deep knowledge of RPL processes and higher education policies.
- A strong focus on quality outcomes and adherence to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- The ability to work collaboratively with academic and administrative teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Student Management Systems, and strong record-keeping capabilities.
