About the Role:
We seek a detail-oriented building consultant to join our client's team based in Lane Cove. You will conduct comprehensive building inspections, prepare detailed reports, and deliver tailored consultancy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough building inspections to determine the causes of damage, including design flaws and construction defects.
- Analyse causation and propose remediation strategies.
- Prepare forensic reports suitable for litigation, arbitration, and mediation. - Develop scopes of work and oversee repair activities.
- Establish and cultivate client relationships through professional communication.
- Mentor junior consultants while effectively managing multiple assignments.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 8 years in the building and construction industry, focusing on residential and commercial projects.
- Expertise in defect analysis and litigation-standard reports.
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and the National Construction Code (NCC).
- Relevant qualifications in Building, Construction, or Engineering.
- Leadership skills and exceptional communication abilities.
