About the role
As the Program Director Maintenance and Pre-Summer Bushfire Inspection you will be accountable for delivery of a group of Projects/Programs across all Delivery Phases of the Project Lifecycle Framework. You will also provide strategic, technical, and financial leadership to drive project success, optimise resources, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance. Oversee execution, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, quality, and business outcomes.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide strategic leadership and technical, operational, financial and managerial leadership for successful implementation of Project activities.
- Provide oversight of Program implementation including all activities, outputs and outcomes related to project management and administration including reporting, budget, forecasting and cash flows, execution of project plans and project performance.
- Providing leadership to Project Teams (including project delivery teams and contractors), assigning clear roles and responsibilities and managing performance to ensure efficient delivery.
- Contract management to ensure obligations and commitments are met driving efficiency and reducing likelihood of disputes.
- De-risk delivery through strategic and timely procurement and provision of schedule driven resource demand seeking opportunities to add value and drive efficiency at the Program level
- Ensure all assigned projects and programs are planned and delivered according to agreed priorities and to specific standards with proper regard to risk, safety, security and legislative requirements and within allocated budgets.
Qualifications, Certifications and Licences
- Advanced Diploma in Engineering/Business/Construction.
- Diploma in Project Management or equivalent relevant experience.
Skills and Experience
- Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in writing. Gains clear agreement and commitment from others by persuading, convincing and negotiating.
- Ability to maintain and control the progress of projects
- Goal-driven leader who maintains a productive climate and confidently motivates, mobilises, and coaches employees to meet high performance standards.
