Here at our new and modern Yatala depot we are looking to welcome a positive, energetic Leader to our fun and welcoming Day Production Team .
You may have food production experience, but if not, and your strength lies with leading people , then this could be the change you are after!
Working Monday to Friday , the roster operates from 7.30am to 3.30pm offering a great work-life balance.
Please note – Due to the variety and volumes of our products, candidates should be aware that working with certain food products, e.g. meats, dairy or gluten-based items is a requirement of this role.
The role involves…
- Leadership and supervision
- Overseeing day to day operations of the Day Production Team including ingredient preparation, food assembly/production line work, working with machinery, pick packing fresh products to be stocked on our lunch vans – Full support and training provided
- Stock ordering, handling and rotation
- Rostering
- Communication and feedback
- You are a people person with strong leadership experience and the ability to successfully build and mentor our team of up to 10.

The role requirements…
To be successful in the role, you can offer the following:
- Safety first – we are all responsible!
- Team leader/Supervisor experience
- Competently (and without assistance) lift 10-20kg regularly
- Work in a cool room environment
- Physically capable of bending, lifting, twisting, stretching and reaching forward frequently, without discomfort
- Perform repetitive work while adhering to quality and safety standards
- Using equipment and tools, as well as operating machinery for preparation and processing (able to operate or exposure to packing machinery an advantage)
- Stand in one place for long periods of time
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment and facilities
- Reliable and committed
- Great communication skills at all levels
- Comfortable with numbers and calculations
