About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively Lead and Coordinate: Work with small team of Youth Coordinators to manage day-to-day operations (including rostering) of residential services to ensure best practice supports, continuity of care and compliance with regulatory requirements, policies and procedures.
  • Foster a Safe Environment: Create and lead small teams to ensure consistent and nurturing atmosphere that empowers young people to thrive.
  • Be a Role Model: Lead by example, helping teams of Residential Youth Workers to support young people develop the confidence and skills they need to navigate life’s challenges.
  • Build Effective Relationships: Engage and develop relationships with clients and stakeholders.

About You

Qualifications: Cert IV in Child, Family, and Youth Intervention (or equivalent/related field) or willingness to obtain it.

Minimum: 2 years experience working within residential care.

Licenses: A valid Queensland Driver’s License.

Screening: Current Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening and LCS2.

Availability: Participate in on-call roster rotation.

Passion: A genuine commitment to supporting young people and contributing to a positive team culture.
