ABOUT THE BUSINESS

We have recently opened our - highly anticipated - state of the art - warehouse facility, in Moorebank. This is our largest warehouse in Australia. The facility is equipped with all the latest technology and is strategically located on the rail, which will be a game changer for our business as well as our customers. Moorebank is certainly, our most exciting undertaking to date. Once fully operational, this branch will be home to more than 150 Mainfreight team members.

Mainfreight Warehousing has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic person to join our Moorebank Customer Service Team. This is an integral role in assisting the team in the day-to-day functions of our business. The ideal candidate will require both strong interpersonal and good time management skills, commitment to follow through with customer issues, a positive “can-do” attitude, and good computer skills. We would like our team to work on building long term relationships with customers through regular meetings (KPIs), to drive change through continuous improvement and most importantly be available for our customers when they need us most.

The successful candidate should have the following attributes:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITY

  • Effectively communicate with key customers
  • Manage all administrative & customer service aspects of our customers’ accounts
  • Work closely with our Operations Team to achieve KPI targets
  • Tracking consignments and proactively seeking out opportunities to add value to their supply chain needs
  • Develop an understanding of the intricacies of each customer’s profile
