About the opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer to join our Head Office Team based in the Sydney CBD with easy access to public transport including the light rail.
The Payroll Officer is part of the Finance team and is responsible for managing and administering Moran Health Care Group's (MHCG) payroll operation.

About the Role
- Ensure accurate end to end processing of fortnightly Payrolls
- Maintain accurate and up to date payroll records, systems, and database
- Ensure compliance with legislation and MHCG Policy and EBA
- Provide high level of customer service when addressing employee payroll queries
- Processing new hires, transfers and terminations
- Support PAYG, Super, Payroll Tax & Payroll reporting
- Assist with maintenance of payroll system
- Prepare and process termination payments, workers compensation payments
- Prepare and process fortnightly and monthly reports
- Ad hoc payroll tasks and queries
About you
- Qualification in Payroll, Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent or equivalent relevant experience
- Three years' experience in a similar role
- Previous experience in Health or Aged Care highly desired
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and ownership of your work.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Suite incl Excel
- Must have valid working Visa
- Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination
