This lovely 32 place service located in Penrith is looking for a Diploma Trained Educator to join their team of established educators in the 3-5 age room as the Room Leader. This warm purpose-built early learning service is located conveniently next to main transport links. The service follows a play-based approach, whereby children are encouraged to explore, discover and guide their own learning and educators offer holistic learning experiences which are also linked to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
The Role
As a Room Leader Diploma Educator your responsibilities will include:
Working as a Room Leader to implement programming leading to successful learning outcomes for the childrenCommunicating positively with the children and familiesPreparing, implementing and evaluating a developmentally appropriate program for individual children and groupsBeing reliable, respectful and working constructively with your colleagues and other professionalsEnsuring a trusting relationship is developed with families through regular, honest and open communication regarding the care of their childHaving sound knowledge of current child care practices, the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework

About You
To be successful in this position you must have:
A Diploma in Early Childhood OR ACECQA-approved equivalent qualificationA current Working with Children’s Check Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtainUnderstanding and knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
