King Truss is a 30-year-old family-owned Building Supplies business based on the Sunshine Coast, servicing a customer base that spans Bundaberg to Ballina.
As part of our continued business expansion, we are looking to employ an additional Internal Sales member to join our current team.
This role requires someone who is self-motivated, energetic, and flexible. This person must also be able to think on the go in a fast-paced and energetic environment.
You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless coordination between our customers, suppliers, and King Truss staff. You will complete all functions of the Internal Sales role, such as order processing, quoting, and stock management, while supporting our admin team.
This role requires a high level of phone and email etiquette and is best suited to someone who can consistently represent King Truss in a positive and helpful manner that purveys our commitment to a high-quality product and service, with this role attention to detail and a very high level of customer satisfaction is a must.
Skills & Experience
- Competence & previous Internal Sales experience in Building Materials is essential.
- Excellent client relationship management skills with a strong emphasis on customer service.
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail & accuracy.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills to have the ability to interact with customers, suppliers & team members effectively.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritise & multitask in a fast paced environment.
- Proven ability to take ownership of the job and tasks, with demonstrated problem-solving and time management skills.
- Highly motivated, committed, team focused and reliable - we want someone for the long term.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting our External sales team
- Entering & processing of sales order & customer quotes, stock management including purchasing & receipting of orders
- Management & co-ordination of customer & supplier delivery schedules
- Supporting the Dispatch team to ensure orders are supplied in full & on time
- Customer service through phone calls, emails & face to face
- Support all staff and customers to ensure smooth day to day operations.
