As the Business Manager of the School Support Officer Program Coordination Team, you will oversee training, administration and resource support provided to the state-wide School Support Officer Program (SSOP) capability.Your Key Accountabilities
The core capability requirements for this role are:
- Manage and co-ordinate the financial and administrative activities of the School Support Officer Program (SSOP) to ensure effective service delivery.
- Provide advice to internal and external clients and senior management on issues relating to SSOP and associated support activities.
- Manage the development of SSOP staff by providing coaching, training and monitoring performance.
- Maintain and provide expert advice on youth programs and support systems.
- Prepare submissions, reports, briefing material and correspondence for senior management.
- Liaise, consult and negotiate with internal clients and external agencies and foster productive networks and partnerships.
- Foster an inclusive, equitable, ethical and safe working environment which encourages commitment, professional growth and continuous improvement.
Technical/ Operational/ Educational experi ence
- Demonstrated ability to manage subordinates and oversee business operations is highly desirable.
- Although based at Inala (PCYC) at times the successful applicant may be required to perform work at various locations across Queensland.
