Are you enthusiastic about driving excellence in human research ethics? Do you have leadership experience and a keen eye for detail? Bellberry Ltd is looking for Team Leaders to play a crucial role in supporting high-quality, ethical research that makes a difference.

As a Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC) Team Leader, you will lead a team of dedicated HREC Officers, ensuring the smooth operation of our Ethics Review processes. You will provide expert advice, oversee research submissions, and help maintain our reputation for excellence, consistency, and efficiency in Research Ethics reviews.

About the Role

Reporting to the Research Manager, you will:

  • Lead and support a team of HREC Officers, ensuring high-quality ethics review processes.
  • Manage research study submissions, providing expert oversight and guidance.
  • Collaborate closely with committee members to allocate expertise and ensure compliance with ethical standards.
  • Build strong relationships with researchers, sponsors, and stakeholders.
  • Drive process improvements and contribute to the continuous development of Bellberry’s policies.

What we are Looking For

Essential:

  • A tertiary qualification in Science, Health, or Quality Management.
  • Leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in human research ethics (HRECs, governance, or compliance).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
