The Team
Our Melbourne team, led by one Partner, works across General Liability (GL) and Professional Liability.
The GL team has gained superior expertise from handling hundreds of claims, mediations and court procedures. The work covers a broad range of insurance and commercial disputes including public liability, product liability, property damage and professional indemnity claims. The GL team acts for insurers, brokers, underwriters and claims companies, as well as corporate insureds.
The Professional Liability team is comprised of three sub areas including professional indemnity, D&O and management liability. The team handles claims made against professionals across all industries.
The Position
We are seeking an Associate with strong general liability experience to join the team. You will have 2+ years of post-admission experience across a broad range of general liability and professional indemnity matters, and the ability to demonstrate a strong legal grasp of key principles relevant to insurance.
You will also have excellent analytical skills, clear concise writing skills, and also the ability to meet tight deadlines. You are passionate about building strong client relationships and providing high quality service and advice.
