Executive Manager, Risk in Change

How will I help?

Reporting to the Head of UNITE Oversight, you will be responsible for providing independent risk oversight and challenge to the delivery of UNITE initiatives across GBU Downstream (Credit Risk and Financial Crime).

Some of the key accountabilities are:

  • Providing second line risk oversight on GBU Downstream (Credit Risk and Financial Crime) UNITE initiatives, ensuring risks are appropriately identified, mitigated, and managed
  • Challenging first line delivery teams on risk management practices, ensuring adherence to risk frameworks and escalation protocols
  • Preparing and presenting risk reports, escalating significant issues to senior leadership and risk committees as required
  • Partnering with program stakeholders to provide risk insights, fostering a culture of proactive risk identification and mitigation.

What do I need?

  • Substantial years of experience in Risk BU
  • Strong background in transformation delivery
  • Financial Services Experience (desirable)
  • Professional post-graduate technical / risk qualifications (desirable)
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, communication and influencing skills.
