About the role
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting kitchen operations for programs and events hosted by the Centre. Your responsibilities will include providing operational support in the kitchen, managing stock control, and safely operating kitchen equipment as required. By fostering teamwork and continuously improving service delivery, you will contribute to a client-focused culture within the agency.

About you
The ideal candidate will have the ability to assist Catering Officers in the kitchen including operating commercial dishwashers when required. This includes ensuring goods are stored safely and hygienically.
Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability are essential to thrive in our fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Your Excellent communication skills will be crucial for effectively collaborating with team members to meet the needs of our diverse clients.
The candidate will also be willing to work on a rostered basis, with hours generally ranging between 7am to 7pm, including weekend work.
