What you’ll be doing
The Head of Office of CEO role is required to assist the CEO in managing the organisation's day-to-day operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the seamless execution of business plans. The role acts as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team (ELT), ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and prioritisation across the organisation. This position requires an individual who can think critically, manage complex projects, and influence key stakeholders, all while maintaining a keen understanding of the business’s strategic goals and outcomes.
Further responsibilities:
- Oversee, facilitate or coordinate the execution of key strategic initiatives and projects, including cross functional projects to improve efficiency, strategic execution, culture and transformation.
- Support the CEO in setting and implementing organisational goals and strategies.
- Ensure alignment between departmental objectives and the broader organisational vision.
- Serve as a key liaison between the CEO and senior leadership, as well as between leadership and other teams.
- Assist in managing and preparing communications, reports and presentations for the CEO and leadership team.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to the CEO and leadership team to support decision making.
- Provide strong and visible leadership.
You’ll be great in this role if you have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Management
- Requires 10 years of experience in senior level management, including experience in consulting, strategic planning, analytical or project management
- Acted as a trusted and credible advisor, providing insight and contributing to impactful decision making
- Ability to think strategically and implement initiatives in a way that delivers upon business outcomes
- Experience leading business processes and implementation of change
- Broad leadership experience gained in a multi-disciplined environment
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence key internal and external relationships
- Exposure to a dynamic working environment with a strong understanding of organisation culture
