Based in our Ballarat Support Office, you will:
- Be responsible for the integrity of the finance system (structure, new accounts, new stores, integrity errors).
- Work with the wider Finance team as well as our ERP (Pronto) team to fix any integrity issues as well as plan and develop improvements.
- Test system and website changes and new features, with a focus on accounting compliance.
- Assist in month end processing, including review and analysis for management reporting packs
- Assist with the completion of Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Investigate a variety of issues, independently planning and implementing solutions.
- Assist wider Finance Team with troubleshooting and support newer accountants to develop
What you bring…
- As an experienced accountant you will bring a high level of maturity and professionalism to our team.
- IT is second nature to you; navigating different systems and troubleshooting comes easily.
- Undergraduate qualification in accounting.
- High level of initiative and proactively seek to improve processes and efficiencies
- Ability to articulate financial matters and convey information to those without technical training
- Previous experience with multi-company structures
- A thorough understanding of intercompany accounting, the ability to troubleshoot and correct imbalances
- Advanced understanding of accounting entries, and the flow of transactions through an accounting system
- Working towards or completed CA or CPA qualification Highly desirable
