Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Manager to join our dynamic team at JJ Ryan Consulting, an industry leader in engineering design solutions.

This role is a unique opportunity to work closely with the Managing Director and collaborate across various departments, supporting the financial integrity of our business.

The Finance Manager for the JJR Group will oversee financial operations across multiple entities and jurisdictions, ensuring strategic financial management, compliance, and reporting excellence.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Treasury & Cashflow Management – Oversee cashflow, funding strategies, and foreign exchange risks.

Accounting & Compliance – Lead financial operations, including payroll, tax compliance, and financial controls.

Financial Reporting & Governance – Deliver accurate financial reports, ensure audit readiness, and manage risk.

Budgeting & Forecasting – Develop financial plans, monitor performance, and support business growth.

Commercial & Pricing Strategy – Optimise pricing models, improve cost efficiency, and drive profitability.

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement – Lead the finance team across Australia and internationally, and collaborate with executives and operational teams.

Technology & Process Improvement – Enhance financial systems, automate reporting, and improve analytics.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CPA, CA, or equivalent financial certification.

Minimum 8+ years of experience in financial management.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Experience in engineering, construction, SaaS, or EPCM industries.

Experience managing international financial regulations.

M&A, investment trust, or corporate structuring experience.

Experience in treasury, accounting, tax compliance, and reporting.

Expertise in cashflow management, budgeting, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Proficiency in ERP systems, financial software, and data analytics.

Attitude & Disposition:

Hands-on leader with a strategic mindset and commercial acumen.

Strong leadership experience in managing finance teams across multiple locations.

Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders across all levels.
