Group Finance Manager | Leading Market Expert
Overview
As the Group Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy, operational efficiency, and insightful reporting across the business. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Enhancing decision-making by providing timely, actionable, and insightful financial reporting and analysis.
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the finance function.
- Collaborating with the CFO to drive business transformation, improve efficiency, and enhance team capability.

Key Responsibilities
Management Reporting
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Prepare monthly reports, including variance analysis for revenue, profit & loss, forecasts, and group reporting submissions.
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support decision-making and resource allocation.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and prepare ad hoc financial analysis.
Client Profitability & Remuneration
- Partner with the CFO on client remuneration models and contract reviews.
- Provide profitability reporting and client fee reconciliations.
- Oversee time-sheeting accuracy and work-in-progress (WIP) management to ensure revenue recognition.
Working Capital Management
- Oversee credit terms, debtor collections, and WIP balances to optimize cash flow.
- Manage treasury functions and provide payment approvals.
Financial Compliance & Controls
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and US GAAP reporting standards.
- Oversee audit and tax requirements, liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain robust internal controls to meet governance and compliance standards.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Provide guidance on complex financial matters and promote cross-functional teamwork.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Strong communication with the CFO, finance team, and key business stakeholders.
- Timely and accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
- Proactive process improvement and strategic financial management.
- High levels of engagement and effectiveness within the finance team.
- Strong relationships with internal and external partners.
About You
- CA/CPA qualified with proven experience in financial leadership roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
