- Contribute to Council's Traffic management plans
- Initial 6 month contract with possibility for extension
- Healthy work-life balance - 35 hours p/w
As a Traffic Engineer in a initial 6 month contract located in Sydney, you will request traffic investigations, prepare items for Traffic Committee, organise and manage traffic surveys and maintain database for traffic incidents and accidents, ensure that requests on traffic matters are processed promptly in accordance with performance targets.
DUTIES.
- Assess traffic impact of Development Applications
- Providing advice to internal and external stakeholders on traffic, transport and parking matters
- Undertake site inspections and investigation of traffic, transport and road safety issues
- Prepare design layouts for new traffic facilities including pedestrian and bicycle paths
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering or relevant qualifications
- Relevant Civil project exposure such as roads, footpaths etc
- High level of attention to detail in written works
- Solution driven to undertake investigation and assessment of traffic related issues
