About the Role
As the HR Officer , you’ll play a key role in supporting our growing team, ensuring smooth HR operations, and fostering a strong workplace culture. Working closely with management, you’ll provide hands-on HR support across payroll, recruitment, compliance, onboarding, and employee relations.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll process accurately and ensure compliance with industry awards and Fair Work regulations.
- Assist with hiring processes, interviews, and new employee inductions.
- Ensure policies, contracts, and procedures align with industry standards and workplace legislation.
- Support staff and managers with HR-related queries, fostering a positive work culture.
- Coordinate and support performance appraisal processes to drive employee development.
- At least 2 years in a similar HR role, preferably within manufacturing, construction, or a related industry.
- Experience managing payroll processes and ensuring compliance with Fair Work requirements.
- Familiarity with workplace legislation and industry awards.
- Ability to liaise with employees at all levels, from the factory floor to management.
- Someone who takes initiative and can navigate HR challenges with confidence.
