About the Role:
Our client one of the largest property companies in Australia and is a global leader in Facilities Management services who are on the lookout for a results-driven Business Development Manager to generate new business across both hard and soft FM services. This is a pure new business role, focused on selling integrated FM solutions to a wide range of industries.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities for integrated Facilities Management services (hard and soft services).
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, building a robust sales pipeline.
- Create and deliver high-quality tenders, sales documents, and presentations to prospective clients.
- Represent the business at industry events and networking opportunities, consistently raising the company’s profile.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, HR, QHS) to ensure alignment and compliance throughout the sales process.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development within Facilities Management, with a focus on hard and soft services.
- Well-networked within the FM industry and a strong understanding of integrated service delivery models.
- Experience selling service-based solutions (as opposed to products), ideally within Facilities Services.
- Technical background or knowledge is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at senior levels.
