We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Commercial Manager to join our team for a 12 month fixed term contract based in our Maryborough site. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rollingstock, a deep understanding of asset maintenance and manufacturing commercial principles, and a litigious understanding of contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- This pivotal role will assist in the commercial management of rollingstock projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to optimize project outcomes.
- Manage contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with legal and commercial standards.
- Provide expert advice on maintenance and new manufacturing commercial principles.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks.
About You:
- Proven experience in commercial management within the rollingstock industry.
- Strong experience in rail or heavy industrial industries is desirable
- Strong understanding of maintenance and new manufacturing commercial principles.
- Excellent knowledge of contract law and litigious aspects of contracts.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in using commercial management software and tools.
