The person:
You have a strong operational HR foundation and are experienced and knowledgeable in a broad range of HR initiatives including recruitment, Australian employment legislation and industrial relations, employee relations, performance management, specialised training etc.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Partnering with business leaders to identify workforce needs, implement talent acquisition strategies etc
- Driving succession planning, and career development initiatives and supporting performance management processes
- Providing advice on employee relations matters and ensuring compliance with Australian employment laws, modern awards, EA's etc
- Designing and delivering training programs and supporting continuous learning and professional growth
- Providing advice and support across all HR disciplines
- Driving and supporting change initiatives and liaising with cross-functional teams on HR-related projects
Key skills and experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or related field
- 5+ years experience in HR; ideally manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations frameworks; experience working with Unions
- You display confidence, are self-driven and results-focused and enjoyed working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
- Strong communication and organisational skills, both written and verbal
