Our Client
Our client is a leading property investment coaching firm operating across Australia. Specialising in property renovation and resale, they empower individuals to achieve financial independence through strategic real estate ventures. As part of the coaching program, members will consult with a Senior Accountant to structure their property investment ventures effectively.
Currently, these accounting services are outsourced to external firms, but the company is now looking to bring this function in-house by establishing a dedicated Accounting advisory firm.
About the Opportunity
This role offers the opportunity to establish and lead an Accounting advisory firm dedicated to supporting course participants in their property investment journey. While you will be responsible for setting up and managing the firm – developing its operational framework, implementing tax compliance systems, and ensuring regulatory adherence – your primary focus will be advising course participants.
The objective is to provide integrated accounting and tax advice that aligns directly with the coaching program, ensuring that members receive comprehensive support tailored to their property investment goals.
The Senior Accountant will assist in setting up investment entities, ensuring taxation compliance and provide an ongoing tax advisory service in tax structuring, capital gains, tax planning & asset protection whilst ensuring optimal financial structuring.
About You
- You are a Chartered or CPA-qualified accountant
- You possess a strong background in property investment (commercial or residential).
- You are knowledgeable in tax, compliance and financial structuring.
- Your expertise includes tax planning, company formation, capital gains tax strategies and regulatory compliance for property investors.
- You are confident and articulate in front of people, comfortable delivering advice and guidance.
- You can explain complex concepts in a clear and practical way.
Year 1: Establish the advisory firm, develop operational frameworks, implement tax compliance systems, and begin advising course participants. Build relationships with clients and ensure seamless integration with the coaching program.
Year 2: Expand the client base, refine service offerings, and optimise internal processes. Strengthen tax advisory capabilities and enhance compliance frameworks.
Beyond: Lead the firm’s continued growth, potentially expanding services, building a team, and establishing the business as a key tax resource for property-focused clients.
