About the role
As a Contracts Mining Engineer, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring contractual excellence and providing commercial support to sites. This role will be based at our Barminco head office in Hazelmere.Your key responsibilities include:
Position objectives and responsibilities:
• Ensuring compliance with Perenti’s policies and addressing contractual risks.
• Preparing pricing and documentation for tenders to secure new projects.
• Developing scopes of work, contract schedules, and terms and conditions.
• Actively managing and administering existing site contracts.
• Collaborating with stakeholders and participating in negotiations.
• Maintaining accurate contract data in relevant systems.
Skills, Experience and Attributes:
• High integrity and pride in delivering quality work.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Proven experience in managing mining contracts and knowledge of mining operations.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Education and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering or a related discipline (desirable).
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements in mining.
