Job Description : We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer (Tester) to join our client's team in Ballarat. This role is open to candidates from junior to senior levels of experience. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing and analysis.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure product quality.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
- Document and track defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Participate in code reviews and provide input on quality standards.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience in performance and security testing.
