About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to support the Manager Executive Reporting, Policy and Compliance in providing quality reporting and analysis against key financial and non-financial performance indicators within Metro North Hospital and Health Service. o managing the continuous internal control auditing and monitoring to ensure compliance with financial policy and procedures
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Investigate, advise and assist the Metro North Ethical Standards team with any investigations or queries.
- Plan, develop and perform the annual Financial Management Assurance (FMA) program, including provision and follow up of recommendations for improvements to systems and processes.
- Develop and present financial reports and information that are clear and concise based on sound interpretation with comprehensive arguments that identify all relevant issues in order to influence compliance both verbally and in the written form.
- Manage and review continuous monitoring of key financial controls, including but not limited to, winc utilisation, Vendor reviews, Corporate Card usage, Purchase requisition reviews, Medicine Australia published gifts and benefits.
