About The Role:
ConnectNow - Business Development Manager
Connectnow, an AGL company, is an award-winning, leading Australian moving-home business. If you’re moving home Connectnow helps you find suppliers in your area and arrange services all at once. Our team lead the industry in delivering outstanding customer experiences and are proud to represent some of Australia’s iconic Real Estate brands.
Reporting to the State Sales Manager (VIC), we’re looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to take on this autonomous role within Connectnow. In this position, you will be on the road visiting clients across the greater Melbourne area including, the northwest region and some regional areas (Bendigo and Ballarat).
Working hand in hand within the Real Estate Market, you will be required to establish yourself as a trusted peer, guiding our Partners and prospective partners towards maximising the revenue opportunity in the Home Moving Connections Market. This is a highly competitive space and you will be required to demonstrate tenacity, creativity and discipline in driving your own success.
You will be responsible for your own territory and selling a nationally recognised brand. You are in control of your day – visiting clients, working at home or in the office.
What you’ll be doing:

Lifting the performance of our existing customer account base by using your excellent customer service skills

Working with our existing customer base to deliver training where required

Finding and generating new business leads via various market channels

Working with stakeholders to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes which also align to our overall business strategy

Encourage and build a supportive team environment by leading by example to strive for excellence

Pulling together market insights to help shape our future success

Attending industry events, conferences, and award nights to stay informed of what’s happening in the industry
About You:

A track record in developing commercial relationships to meet and exceed sales targets within the Real Estate industry

A passion for business development and key account management

Ability to convert qualified referrals into total sales by using your field and phone-based sales expertise

Drive and tenacity to find and create growth opportunities

A customer-focused mindset along with integrity and accountability.
