Description:

The Speech Pathology Department are looking for a Director Speech Pathology to join their team. The Speech Pathology Department is based at Redland Hospital and delivers services across all Bayside Health Service facilities. This position may be required to work throughout Bayside Health Service and the position’s primary work location may change based on operational requirements.

About the Role

  • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic direction within a diverse multidisciplinary environment across multiple facilities/specialties; and lead the development of professional standards on a Health Service wide basis.
  • Demonstrated well-developed high level of speech pathologyclinical knowledge, expertise and skill.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide authoritative counsel and clinical advice regarding professional standards and clinical service development.
  • Demonstrated high level ability to provide strategic and operational management in the provision of speech pathology clinical services, that is integrated across hospital, residential and community settings including cost centre management.
