Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for recruitment and onboarding? Yackandandah Health, a leading aged care provider, is seeking a Recruitment / HR Coordinator to support our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in attracting and onboarding dedicated staff who make a difference in the lives of our residents.

Yackandandah Health is proudly part of the Apollo Care Alliance, an innovative national organisation with a unique vision to support not-for-profit aged care communities located in beautiful Northeast Victoria, close to snow fields, wineries and waterways. With over 100 employees, Yackandandah Health is the largest employer in the town.
We have developed a sustainable intergenerational site providing residential aged care, childcare, a medical centre, allied health services and apartment living. We are innovative and forward thinking in our approach to the delivery of community services.
About the Role:
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new employees. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating and managing the recruitment process (end to end)
  • Conducting screening, shortlisting, and scheduling interviews.
  • Managing employee onboarding, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Managing compliance checks, including NDIS Checks, working rights, and qualifications etc.
  • Assisting with contract preparation and ensuring accurate employee documentation.
  • Liaising with hiring managers to identify workforce needs.
  • Maintaining HR records and assisting with general HR administration.

About You:
We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and passionate about recruitment and onboarding. Ideally, you will have:
  • Experience in recruitment, HR, or a similar role (aged care or healthcare experience desirable).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of HR processes, compliance, and onboarding best practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • NDIS Check (or willing to obtain)
