About the Role:
As an Internal Sales Representative, you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency and professionalism. Your role will involve processing orders, preparing quotations, and providing top-notch customer service, all while maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer all incoming customer calls in a professional and efficient manner.
- Process customer orders via the internal system, including raising delivery dockets and invoicing.
- Prepare, process, and follow up on quotations to maximise sales opportunities.
- Assist with costing where required.
- Build and nurture relationships with existing and new customers.
- Provide product recommendations that best meet customer requirements.
- Record and report product quality enquiries to relevant teams.
- Work with customers to determine required standards and specifications for product manufacturing.
- Maintain accurate sales records as required.
- Support the sales team in achieving targets and delivering excellent customer service.
- Conduct all activities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
- Maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, contributing to a positive and productive team environment.
- Identify and report any process improvements that could enhance quality, safety, or environmental outcomes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in customer service, sales, or a related role (preferably in the electrical industry).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales/order processing systems.
- A proactive and team-oriented approach to work.
