We’re seeking a dynamic leader to deliver expert legal support and innovative solutions both personally and through an empowered team.

What you’ll do

• Provide strategic legal advice on product development, PDS design, claims management, distribution, and regulatory compliance for the Commercial Insurance business
• Support the execution of the Commercial Insurance strategy with best in class legal support which delivers amazing broker and customer experiences. Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and alignment with Suncorp’s risk framework
• Oversee claims processes, working with internal stakeholders and external counsel to safeguard business interests
• Drive process improvements and implement technology solutions to enhance efficiency, streamline operations, and future-proof the legal function

What You’ll Bring

• Tertiary qualification in Law and a Current Practising Certificate (Mandatory)
• Significant legal experience in Financial Services or Insurance, with a focus on Commercial Insurance (Desired)
• Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams
• A passion for innovation, collaboration, and delivering results
