About the Role

Ramsay Health Plus – Cairns is seeking a dynamic and experienced Allied Health Receptionist to support the success of our multidisciplinary outpatient clinic and ensure a positive experience for our clients. This role will see you joining our growing Allied Health team at our stand-alone outpatient facility, co-located with Ramsay Psychology on McLeod Street Cairns.

This role will see you provide support and assistance to patients and staff and undertake the following responsibilities:

  • Manage enquiries and schedule patient bookings
  • Processing payments for appointments, including third-party payers such as NDIS
  • Maintain diary management for our team of Allied Health professionals
  • Ensure the office environment is tidy and presentable

This position will suit someone who is looking for a diverse role and an opportunity to showcase their outstanding customer service and communication skills.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a well-presented individual with highly developed communication and organisational skills. Your high attention to detail and accuracy, strong computer skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities will see you succeed in this role.

You will also bring:

  • Specialist medical/allied health reception experience, minimum 2 years’ essential
  • Experience with Patient Management Systems, Nookal is highly desirable
  • Professional phone manner and approach to work
  • Proven ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work autonomously and harmoniously as part of a team

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from: $28.09 - $34.22 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
