We are searching for an experienced professional who can help Bankwest deliver our community investment strategy, which has a focus on supporting vulnerable members of our community, including those impacted by family and domestic violence or financial abuse.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for and experience in social impact, corporate social responsibility, volunteer program management, human resource management or consulting. They will have a sound understanding of stakeholder engagement and strong organisational skills.
We're looking for a values-driven individual who is focused on delivering maximum impact. With relationship management skills that come naturally, you will collaborate with stakeholders and build effective relationships across the business and externally with community partners.
More specifically you will:

Coordinate Bankwest's corporate volunteering program.

Design and implement an innovative skills-based volunteering program that leverages the diverse professional skills and expertise within Bankwest to build capacity in local community organisations.

Support the implementation of Bankwest’s Sustainability Strategy including reconciliation, accessibility, inclusion, human rights, social policy advocacy, and charitable initiatives.

Build and maintain relationships in the community sector and provide insights and informed advice to the business on community and social issues and trends.

Support business units, teams and employees with reliable, quality and timely policy and process advice across the community investment and sustainability portfolio areas.

Support awareness-raising and learning activities for Bankwest employees and facilitate their engagement and involvement in sustainability and social impact matters and initiatives.

Support a strong internal culture of giving back to the community through volunteering and other charitable activities.

Support the expansion, improvement and innovation of Bankwest’s community investment programs, ensuring alignment with our Sustainability Strategy.

Support the delivery of initiatives which build community resilience.

Support the delivery of the CommBank Staff Foundation's community investment programs and engage staff within Bankwest.

Support the CBA Group’s Environmental & Social Governance reporting and help to deliver Bankwest’s E&S obligations and manage E&S risks.

We're interested in hearing from people who:

Are passionate about creating meaningful impact in the community.

Have a bachelor's degree and 5+ years’ experience in similar position/industry, or an equivalent level of knowledge and experience.

Can demonstrate experience in stakeholder engagement/management, including an ability to build mutually beneficial and sustainable relationships.

Can demonstrate experience in Community Investment, Community Development, Social Impact, or Corporate Social Responsibility, Volunteer Program Management, Human Resource Management or Management Consulting.

Have experience engaging and partnering with communities and charities.

Have excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration and influencing skills.

Have excellent organisational, administrative and risk management skills.
